Social Dancing on Thursday nights

Social dancing has moved to the Top of the Cross, Southern Cross Club in Woden. On 4 June our current R’n’R Beginner class have their final lesson from 7 to 8, so social dancing will start at 8:15. Join us to celebrate with our newest members. We’ll have tea and coffee available, and some homemade treats.

11 June we’ll be starting social dancing at 7pm. If you’re looking to learn some new moves, get there by 7:30 to learn Rock’n’Roll move the Bunny Hug. Your teachers will be Barbara and Michael. There is no extra cost involved, and Michael and Barbara will be available to help you practice the new move.

The room is not available on 18 June, so there will be no social dance or lesson that night. For 4 weeks from 25 June, we have Beginner Rock’n’Roll Lessons at 7pm with social dancing from 8:15. Entry cost for the social is $5 per person.

Roc-A-Tac

Our next Saturday night dance is on 11 July with Roc-A-Tac. The band will play from 7 to 11 pm. Cost is $30 for Southside members and $35 for guests. Dance Lessons

More Saturday Night dances

19 September the Rusty Mustangs will play for us at Raiders Kippax. Music from 7 to 11, either buy tickets online or pay using card or cash at the door.
