Join us from 7pm on Saturday 2 November to dance to this APRA award winning Sydney band. Cost is $40 discounted to $35 for Southside members. You can book and pay ahead of time at https://www.trybooking.com/CVCXX. Bookings are not required, and we’re happy to take cash or card on the night. We’ll be dancing until 11pm, there’s a full bar, and you can grab dinner from the restaurant before the show, or have something brought to your table.
Rockabilly Lessons
Our last set of lessons for 2024, Beginner Rockabilly with Shane and Annie, starts on Sunday 10 November at the Austrian Club in Mawson. This is a 4-week course from 2-3pm on Sunday 10, 17, 24 November and 1 December 2024. The cost for the 4-week course is $40 per person for Southside members. If you’re not a Southside member you’ll need to join, which costs $20 per person. Please let us know whether you are attending with a dance partner. If not, please let us know whether you are learning to lead or follow, so we have enough Club members to help out. To register your interest please email our booking mailbox.
Teaser - Bands for 2025
We’ve invited some great bands to play for us in 2025, some old favourites, local acts and some who’ve never played for Southside before. We’ll get our 2025 calendar out once we’ve confirmed dates and venues, meanwhile here are a few of the bands we’re talking to: Co-op de Ville, Ric Hudson, Roc A Tac, Reprisal, Rusty Mustangs, Mr James, On the Prowl, Secret Agent and Route 66.

Dance with The Hitmen, 3 to 6PM at the Austrian Australian Club. Entry $15
The Wranglers – 14 December
Christmas Party and Dance with the Wranglers 7-00pm till 11-00pm at the Austrian Australian Club. Entry $25 for Southside members and $35 for general public.
