Rock’n’Roll and Rockabilly workshop with Sharon Hanley and Vic Valka

We are proud to announce that we will be hosting a workshop with the fabulous Sharon Hanley and Vic Valka, who will be teaching a full day Rock’n’Roll and Rockabilly workshop on Saturday the 2nd of November. You will have the chance to show off all your new moves at the dance with The Jive Bombers in the evening following the workshop!

The workshop will be held at the Austrian Australian Club in Mawson. The 4 one-hour sessions include Beginner/intermediate Rockabilly and Intermediate/advanced Rockabilly in the morning, and Beginner/intermediate Rock’n’Roll and Intermediate/advanced Rock’n’Roll after the lunch break. Lunch is available at the Austrian Club and at other venues nearby. More detailed timing information TBA.

We recommend that you are comfortable with the basic footwork of the dance style to participate in the beginner/intermediate sessions. If you have participated in one set of classes you will be fine. The intermediate/advanced sessions will build up on the basics and are great if you want to improve your technique and repertoire of the dance styles. We recommend that you are comfortable dancing the styles socially and have been dancing for a year. Please do not hesitate to ask us if you have any questions related to what sessions are suited for you.

Prices: Early bird pricing is valid until the 13th of October.
